PLATFORM: Northrop F-5 / T-38 PROGRAM: Auxiliary Air Actuator, P/N 14-50901-5
Auxiliary Air Intake Actuator opens and closes air vane doors on Northrop F-5 aircraft. The vanes open during takeoff to allow more airflow to the engines.
The Aux Air Actuator operates using an electromechanical system.
These actuators were produced by two manufacturers, EEMCO and Talley, both no longer in business.
COC remanufactures the critical components of these actuators with higher quality and superior materials ensuring longer service life.

Original Mechanical Tester, Test Parameters, and COC’s Newly Designed Testing Unit with Digital Rotary Encoder.
COC tests units over 100 consecutive cycles, representing over 100 F-5 take-offs.
